Welcome to Njarabi! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our dating platform designed specifically for West Africa.
By accessing Njarabi, you agree to comply with these rules in full. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the platform immediately.
Important: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Njarabi.
2. User account and eligibility
2.1 Eligibility requirements
- Minimum age: You must be 18 years of age or older to use Njarabi.
- Legal capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.
- Geolocation: Njarabi is intended for residents of West Africa.
2.2 Account creation and security
- Sign in with Apple: We use Sign in with Apple for authentication.
- Accurate information: You must provide true, accurate, and complete information.
- Authenticity: Fake profiles or identity impersonation will result in immediate banning.
- One account per person: Only one account is allowed per user.
2.3 Required profile fields
To create a complete profile, the following information is required:
Display name
Appears publicly on your profile
Age (date of birth)
Verification and matching algorithms
Profile photos
Profile visibility and authenticity
Relationship intention
Marriage, love, friendship, casual dating

Moderation: Violations will be moderated within 24 hours and may result in sanctions ranging from warnings to permanent bans.

All permissions requested by Njarabi are clearly explained below:

- • Suggest local matches across West Africa
Microphone
- • Record voice messages between users
- • Enable voice communication within the app
Contacts
- • Detect whether your contacts already use Njarabi
- • Avoid suggesting people you already know
Camera
- • Take photos for your profile
- • Share photos with your matches
Full transparency: You have complete control over all these permissions. You can enable or disable them at any time in your device settings.
5. Privacy and data protection
5.1 Data collection
- Profile information: Age, location, interests, photos, description.
- Usage data: Activity history, preferences, interactions.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system.
GDPR compliance
Your personal data is hosted on servers located in Europe, ensuring protection compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5.2 Retention and deletion
- Retention: Deleted data may be retained for up to 90 days for legal purposes.
- Legal compliance: We may share necessary data with authorities in the event of legal investigations.
6. Paid services and virtual coins

- 3 Fast response: All reports are handled within 24 hours.

- Interactions outside the platform

Jurisdiction
Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
